How to navigate the process of funding your business. 

Debrena Gandy, Theo Martin, Troy Dawson, and Devin Stubblefield, comprise the planning team of the Elevate Direct Impact Dollars (D.I.D.) Initiative Fund.  They will be holding a panel discussion tomorrow (January 29th) night at Black Dot located at 1437 South Jackson Street in Seattle from 6pm - 8pm about how they got started with their respective businesses and the process of surviving in the first critical five years.

The Elevate D.I.D. Initiative is about leveraging the power of our collective dollars to directly impact and financially empower African-American owned businesses in the Greater Seattle area .

This will be a lively discussion on personal financial capacity, creditworthiness, financing, crowdfunding considerations, evaluating potential business investors and maintaining realistic expectations for getting your business on track to sustainability.

There will also be a moderated Q & A session to allow participants the opportunity to speak with the panelists about current business considerations.
