#ALERT - The application process has now been simplified in that you are no longer required to submit a document proving historical ties to the Central District before the year 2000 prior to entering the Jackson Heights Affordable Housing Lottery.

So what does that mean? That means that if you have been waiting to apply for the Jackson Heights Affordable Housing Lottery while you searched for historical documents, you no longer need to delay in submitting your application.

Please keep in mind that If you are selected in the lottery, you will need to submit your historical document at that time and failure to do so will result in your disqualification.

Again, you no longer need to submit your historical document when you submit your application. So whether you are submitting your application online via the http://www.jheights.org/ website or you are submitting a paper application by mail or in person. All you need to do is carefully fill out the application, make sure you include your annual income, and press submit, mail or drop off.
